The space
The property is part of our home and we live on-site. It is on the first floor and is self-contained. The area is very rural — no bars or clubs within walking distance, and no bus service — so your own transport is necessary. The nearest local town is approximately a 10-minute drive away, where you'll find supermarkets, banks, post office, bars and restaurants.
If you are looking for a totally "unplugged" experience, then this is the property for you.

You're living within a 5-acre piece of private land with a carp lake at its centre.
The property is rented on the first floor as a whole unit for up to 6 people — 2 double beds and 2 singles.
The garden areas are yours to relax and enjoy, with views over the lake. During times when there are no anglers on the lake, we'd encourage you to take a stroll down to the water's edge.
Unfortunately, we do not allow swimming in the lake.
Other things to note
Please be aware that it's countryside living — we share our space with lots of different wildlife: bats, little lizardy things, frogs, spiders and various bugs (which do end up in the house sometimes), bees, red squirrels, moles, woodpeckers and other bird species.
